How Beautiful Is the Sun

The warmth of the sun as it shines upon my face not only makes my face glow,
but it also helps my gloomy heart to radiate a soft aura.
How intense and powerful this star we call the sun.
As it slowly seeps up over the horizon from the East, it already begins its
marvelous shimmer. The radiant reds, fiery oranges, and even a touch of
yellow- for good measure.
Once it is risen from the horizon level it is so majestic,
How it mirrors over the ocean and along the beach. It continues to rise overhead,
while we scurry about our day and hectic lives.
We take its energy and light for granted not even thinking twice about if it were not
there.
Yes I believe sunrises are so special, but have you seen the brilliance of colors
in the sky when it is time for the sun to set.
They say if the sun is setting over the water you can hear it hiss.
As for me I would like to think it is true.
Some of the most beautiful sunsets occur over the water with pretty shades of
pinks, peach, and not to mention those purple colors. The way the colored
clouds seem to signal the end of another glorious day of light from our intense
star, the sun.
