How Animals Communicate
They may not talk like you and I do
They have a way of letting their feelings be known
Rather it is a mate, foe or friend
When a old dog wags his tail at you
Letting you know his friendship is being shown
He will fight for you until the end
When I see a buzzard circle in the sky
It is part of the circle of life, just doing his part
To survive on what one has left behind
The eagle that soars high in the sky
Hunting his prey with all of his heart
Saying being strong, brave is his kind
Cold wind, snow, bone chilling howl at a full moon
Lone wolf, tells all he is lonely and hungry
Canadian geese form a V, south they tend to fly
The way animal sing their tune
The sound of a Momma Bear protecting her cub, she is angry
Before it dies, a rabbit will cry
They have no calendars or watches to go by
Or any books to study, but somehow they know
Rather to migrate or find a mate
Not like people, they do not ask why
In the early morning, a proud rooster will crow
That is how animals communicate
