How

HOW? How can you watch the flowers in the spring And hear the birds as they merrily sing And watch new life bloom in everything And not believe there is a God? How can you watch in the summer’s dark sky As the bright lightning so fast flashes by And feel the rain soak the earth that is dry And not believe there is a God? How can you see all the colors of fall And see the ducks and hear them when they call And see the frost sparkle there on it all And not believe there’s a God? How can you look at the glimmering snows There in the winter as softly it flows Down on the mountains and wherever it goes And not believe there’s a God? I don’t know how you can see it and say, “Millions of years formed it this very way; It just evolved how we see it today,” And not believe there’s a God.
