Hot and Dark - Coffee
Make my coffee hot and dark,
bold with flavor to light my spark.
I awake blinded and dulled
by the dreams that nite unfolds.
Bright sun and chilly breezes
makes waking a little easy.
Coffee though rises swift to the occasion
that sets my inner fires blazing.
