What to do when it’s really hot
Is garden in a sunny spot
So that your mind can melt and rot
Or go for a ten-mile bike ride - not!
Instead, it’s best to stay inside,
The A/C on so you can hide
And take the outdoor heat in stride,
Attempts to fry your brain denied.
For temps so high just aren’t meant,
At least not quite to this extent,
To live in, so we circumvent
The weather Mother Nature sent.
