Hostage

I'm indulging in untouchable memories..
Out of reach, but still I feel your touch.
rioting at the gates of my dopamine,
provoking every shred of patience
The chills take off, running down my back..
I am out of control of this burning desire
The moments may be gone
but an army of passion
sends every soldier out to battle
fighting to regain the freedom love had
confined to my body, my heart, my soul..
.love and memories
the war has just begun, and each night lives on
in my dreams, when the stars are aligned
perfectly over my bed. Illuminating
the path of Cupid's arrows
for all others to see
I was meant to love you.

Memories hold me hostage tonight
running through my mind
like the chills down my spine
when you'd touch me
