Horrible Cosmos

Down, down, down in the burial ground, goes horrible Cosmos;
everything he did was so awful: feel sympathy for his victims!

Way down into the cold darkness we plunge,
there's no deep water to save our brittle bones;
it's the outcome of grief to express rage...
death waits for an occasion to toss cyclones!

Too beautiful were our younger days
when all we saw was pretty roses,
and the wide smile of our caring mother
who spent more time with us than our father!

Down, down, down into the burial ground, goes horrible Cosmos;
everything he did was so awful: feel sympathy for his victims!

We heard sermons in church and sang songs,
we were closer to God and he was closer to us;
God looked in people's hearts, he favored Ruth
for her loyalty and devotion to Him more than others;
today, preachers have created a distance from Heaven,
God does not hear their twisted words of an ugly truth:
Mary's undisputed faith in Him can lead us to salvation!

Down, down, down into the burial ground, horrible cosmos;
everything he did was awful: feel sympathy for his victims!

How bleak our future looks: young people steal and kill,
they were given no sense of guilt: all they know is hate;
most of them have no father at home to control their will,
they don't have an insightful soul, they accept no debate!

Down, down, down into the burial ground, goes horrible Cosmos;
everything he did was so awful: feel sympathy for his victims!

I enjoyed reading your poem, Andrew, but I must admit, I have no idea who the "Momos" are. Could you enlighten me?

Hi, Mr. Milton. The title of my poem was changed to Horrible Cosmos.

Oh, wow! thanks for enlightening me. I certainly agree with you. There is nothing good or acceptable about encouraging kids to harm themselves and others. I learn something new every day!

Hi, Mr. Hankins. I have appreciated your kind comment on my poem just published. A Momo is a user on WhatsApp enticing kids to commit violent attacks, self-harm, and suicide. I have taken this character to another level. I Momo, in my opinion, is a killer a thief, and such. Thanks again for your comment. have a wonderful evening.
