Horn Haiku Explanation

This is my Horn Haiku
which has five beats
followed by seven beats
then five beats. Hiaku
does not have any
capital letters or any
punctuation.
They normally do not
rhyme though. Mine
do. Here are some
more Horn Haiku.

we must chuck and jive
when we should want to survive
will remain alive

what we should surmise
is best if we improvise
needing alibis

got up his dander
having some sort of slander
also will pander

was truly tender
that always had much splendor
being big spender

with each occasion
there had been an invasion
needed translation

had been imminent
invigorate sentiment
that they will foment
