Hoping For a Shadow In the Sun

If there´s ever been one there´s been two
Because one cannot have that view
The water still falls
When eyes lose control
And the sun always slips out of view

If there´s ever been one there´s been two
A roman a catholic a jew
A pungent romance
A muslims ignorance
A nazis romance, their beautifull dance
The sun always slips out of view

If there is only one that is true
Then the reason remains askew
If his only dance
Is placing the lance
And hoping to make his way through
Then a laugh is a cry
A gleefull reprise
An escape from the fortune
Contemplated abortion
A hope that the sun shines out of view

When the one and the one are now two
The reasons that pushed, pull them through
the sun opens its eyes
looks for truth it despised
And searches for the sky it once knew

It only takes one to make two
A wing, a prayer and a shoe
A beautifull emblem
A time for remembrance
What it takes to kill one it takes two
