Hopes and Dreams
The years teach much what the days never knew,
When dainty dreams and heavenly hope across the skies flew.
One by one a few of them began to go away,
Some changed directions, some fell back, a few others gone astray.
But some were strong though tiny they were, they had a certain knack,
Looked left and right along the track but never looking back.
Hopes and dreams are sugar-coated bitter verses of life,
When they help you u're in mirth, or they're sharper than a knife.
