Hopelessly Stuck

I’m stuck in the present
And stuck in the past.
I’m all out of room
From the stuff I’ve amassed.

The future may beckon
But I can’t respond
Because I’m so stuck
I can’t see the beyond.

Where once I possessed
Much more moxie and pluck,
Today I’m depleted
And hopelessly stuck.

Funny, I was thinking what a great way to get unstuck... write a poem. Let me know if you do. Good luck, Jim

That's a marvelous idea for a poem Ilene. I think it's true: we do less with more I find.

There are so many memories in things we collect and hoard Ilene - its very hard to get rid of some things you have held on to for many years:-) Hugs Jan xx
