Hopelessly Hopeless
I am smiling
but I hide
All my sadness
deep inside
I am searching
but I can't find
Any peace
of mind
I am lost
but on track
To finding
my way back
I am trying
but I regress
Even though
I try my best
I am hopeful
but afraid
That I will always
feel this way
I am changing
but the same
Core parts of me
remain
I am progressing
but I know
I still have a
long way to go
