Hopeless

We fell we loved In a hopeless place We ran the world together Thinking maybe the love would last forever The hopeless place was infertile for the seeds of love we planted Every flower would wither with time There came time we spoke not Of words but emotions Destroyed our properties in the Flame of confusion and blind trust We went back and gave the hopeless Place a try, but everyday we'd cry A dream that can dream of a thought Of the falling sky Pain in the eyes, we're dying in The ice, your roses can't survive With me - they keep hurting me With their thorns, "hold me gently" I might explode as a dynamite And this love would be eroded And lack nutrients as soil that has eroded Departed, broken hearted We dug a single seed into the ground In a year or two, hoping it grows, Those walking here maybe they'd Perceive a rose.
