Hopeful Heart
It's unexpected to find the one, that can make you believe,
Every word he said and promised he made, seemed true indeed;
And you feel the sincerity in every word he speak,
So the trust and respect you just easily gave.
He made you smile and contented of your life,
Every dream he shared, you were always a part of it;
So you made a plan of your life and also imparted him,
But unfortunately he just leave you hanging in the end.
Sad but it's okay, you accepted it lightly,
You mend your heart but it's not that easy;
You put a smile on your face and act normally,
With a hope in your heart that someday you will be happy.
Time passed, heartaches mend, life seems okay.
No more pain, no more fake smiles but genuinely happy;
Back to the old you with a smile that can lighten up the day,
And determination that those happy yesterday will come again someday.
You're not hoping that he will come back to you,
But is hoping that you will find that "one" , you know;
The one who is true and will never leave you,
Who will take care of your heart and will protect you.
With the smile in your lips, you face life bravely,
In spite of the hardships and heartaches you've been;
You never gave up but you keep on moving forward,
Standing firm and strong like the brave lion.
