Hope Won'T Fly

I wandered For so many nights I was lost, alone; I couldn’t find my way back home. But now Suddenly I’m found The skies have parted and I can finally see There's silver in the darkest cloud I'm under. Darkness almost took me, Swallowed up my hope Shadows drifted overhead, A sullen shade of red But I’m stronger than the night Everything will be all right If I smile through the pain Even though hope is a free bird Mine won’t fly away from me I’ve learned To never question fate God knows what He’s doing Each season has its time. And now I want to live my life; Journey through the forest, walk through the fire Until I find celestial shores Darkness will not take me Nor swallow up my hope Light replaces shadow, Shining ever bright And I’m stronger than the night Everything will be all right If I’m smiling through the pain Even though hope is a free bird, Mine won’t fly away from me
