Hope Through Trials

The rain is falling hard all around
But the strange thing is it doesn’t make a sound.
I keep walking through it but it’s getting worse!
The sky is turning black like a death bearing hearse.
I look all around but no one is there
I cry for help, I cry in despair.
I cry in grief, and I cry in pain
I cry out loud for this isn’t a game.
But I feel His hand holding mine tight
That’s when I know, through this I will fight.
It’s getting worse, but the tighter He’s holding
For through this trial, me, He is molding.
The sky is clearing, my strength is all gone
But then He heals me as the angels cheer in song.
He helps me up and sends me on my way
He did this for me all because I prayed.
