Hope Is Alive

As I rise up through the rubble Constantly trying to escape from this world’s trouble Closed mouths becomes idle for a second Your voice and words is your weapon What you believe in you must be willing to fight Trust in the fight for peace, and victory will surely be in sight My words have never been careless The truth has always pushed the boundaries The strongest weapon, we have is hope With God’s words let’s inspire the poor by helping them to cope Powerless, hands bound by the ropes of promises Raise your hands and pump your fists My roar is louder than the thunder of a storm Things seem like everything is out of the norm Our actions do not come without consequences To believe that is mankind’s ultimate arrogances My ambition is has lead me to learning and growing How to keep the faith going and flowing To have faith you must look beyond what your eye can see If you believe in a world of love, hope will be for you and me “Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird, That cannot fly.” ? Langston Hughes "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12 (NLT)
