Hope
When life seems so tempest tossed,
And all seems so dismally lost,
Claw back up that slippery slope;
Just remember, there is always hope!
When things just don't go right,
And you've lost your guiding light,
And in dark times you trip and grope;
Just remember, there is always hope!
When in the throes of trials and stress,
And in times of forlorn hopelessness,
'Twill be much easier for you to cope,
Remembering that there is always hope!
When upon receipt of dreadful news,
You can dwell upon it if you choose.
Perhaps 'twould be best not to sit and mope;
Just remember, there is always hope!
When life has not been kind to you,
And you're feeling down and blue,
And you think you've reached the end of the rope;
Just remember, there is always hope!
