Hope

I don’t need a love story,
No, I’d much prefer a true one
And I don’t need a soulmate
But it’d be nicer if I knew one
Just like I never thought I’d blow
A perfect smoke ring until I blew one
And so I’m still not sure I’ll know
If there is any hope for me and true love,
But I suppose that what I’m trying to say
Is that like a will, where there is hope
There is a way
And that is all I need to know.
