Hope

It's not easy to stand and face the setting sun...
Especially when you hate yourself for the things you've done.

It could have been a word or action that caused the pain...
And your eager parade was covered in rain.

There are consequences for the things that we do...
But the choices we make are up to me and you.

There will always be days when things look bad...
But also days when we have joy and are glad.

Hope is the word that can brighten each day...
And hope is the choice we make whenever we pray.

So cling to hope as you face the setting sun...
And remember the good things that you have done.

Hi Tom. Things are never as bad as they look and with hope and faith our world can be much brighter. I enjoyed this one..... Robert.
