Masking the symptoms of things not understood
Burying emotion under deceptions hood
Hiding the truth suppressed deep inside
Painted on smiles with false assurance and lies
Walk it off be a man one is told to be the plan
But where to walk to and how be can be hard to understand
No one is immune to life's tragedies and mistake
Everyone has regrets and looks for ways of escape
Denial and drugs, music and sex
Rushing to each distraction while searching for the next
We try to do good, we want to do good
But can not sometimes because of things not understood
That is why the bible says
"Proverbs 3:5-6

5 ¶ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own wisdom.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy ways."
And Paul wrote in his own personal anguish
The words of every God fearing hearts languish
" Romans 7:19-25
19 For I do not the good thing, which I would, but the evil, which I would not, that do I.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but the sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then that when I would do good, I am thus yoked, that evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the Law of God, concerning the inner man.
23 But I see another Law in my members, rebelling against the law of my mind, and leading me captive unto the law of sin, which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death!
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Then I myself in my mind serve the Law of God, but in my flesh the law of sin.
Jesus sacrificed himself as our sin
To become our advocate and friend
As John explained there is hope still
To pull us back into Gods will
1 John 2
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not: and if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Just.
2 And he is the reconciliation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
