Hoodwinking Little Red
Hoodwinking Little Red
By Elton Camp
If the obvious isn’t recognized
It can result in a bad surprise
Red Riding Hood wasn’t bright
Didn’t recognize the wolf on sight
It would’ve been wise to try
The beast earlier to identify
His lupine eyes, teeth and ears
Should’ve brought instant fears
Some today are much like that tyke
For them, also, disaster may strike
Anything that is offered free
Isn’t actually going to be
To double your money in a year
Means fraud should be so clear
You’ve won a prize the caller will say
It’s only the shipping that you must pay
Your account has been compromised
As fake, easily should be recognized
Whenever there’s an unsolicited call
Instantly hang up on them, one and all
For if you let such folks stay around
Like the wolf, they’ll gulp you down
