Hood Dreams

Hood Dreams
How do you think she feels,
as she watches her mothers eyes become still?
knowing her life will never be the same,
because her mother choose to live hers in vain.
not doing right like she said she would,
she was like a crack fein,
except she was addicted to the hood.
the same hood that helped her meet
this man.
that lied and cheated and had a real
messed up plan.
the plan to get the hottest chic,
get the most pimped out ride.
he had that hood dream of a better life.
with those glazed over eyes willing to do or die.
so he pledged his life to the hood,
as most niggas would.
cause that's the only way
he felt he could survive,
and make his hood dreams come alive.
but there was a clink in his plan.
he fell in love with the same chic
his homie was with ,
and who's brother had her last week.
cause she was about her money
and said forget his hood dreams.
cause she was willing to get any nigga
to get ahead.
and was not about to let his hood dreams
m,mess up her's instead.
so all this stuff went to his head.
he felt that if he couldn't have her
nobody could.
so he smoked a little cush to
calm his mind picked up his 9
and blew her mind.
like i said how do you think she feels.
as she watches her mothers eyes
become still?
