Honour Me

I planted knowledge in your genes;
So you achieve your wildest dreams;
I formed the cosmic realm you breathe;

Honour Me.

Those creatures that you hold beneath;
Those others that you do esteem;
Those roaming worlds you cannot glean;

Were made by Me.

When you say Chance did this or that;
When Mother Nature slaps you back;
When Evil plagues your world with stress;

I pull the strings.

So, if you think I sleep or rest;
And do not hear and will not speak;
I dare you, take another peek;

At happenings.

Nice piece. we give little or no honour to God Almighty our creator. You poem is deep and speaks it all. We are ungrateful , may God have mercy on us. Keep it up. May God bless you.
