Honeycombs and Cherry Lips

The old ones can sense the coming bloody storm.
Rat racers are busy building their own honeycombs.
Hatchlings are terminally distracted, pecking away at their phones.

I've decided to detach from modern times.
I'm turning medieval, battle-axe by my side.
No more free soloing mountain ranges of burning lies.
Got sick of navigating slick souls and licking deep $hit.
Being over-enticed by life's lederhosen and cherry lips.

That doesn't mean that I'm not in the game.
I'll just be watching the maelstrom from far, far away.
