Honey Bee

I see you honey bee
on humming erratic flight

on route to the garden bed
crash-landing on petals bright

burying head first into a flower
tumbling in the pollen white

vibrating noisily with purpose
then launching out with pollen tight

weighed down with your sweet cargo
buzzing loudly in delight

British Columbia researcher Alison McAfee reported that when temperatures reach about 107-degrees Fahrenheit, drone bees convulse, causing their sex organs to explode and they then die from shock. She claims drones are the most effective indicators of climate change! Woe unto us! Aloha!
