Homeless People Have Feelings To

i remember what it was like to be poor when i lived in a van with nothing more one pair of clothes was all i had when i saw the kids at the park it always made me sad things are different and i am not poor anymore but i stiill see homeless people when i walk out of a store he sits on the sidewalk waiting for money to fill his can but people can care less about that homeless man a homeless women sleeps outside in the cold while those ungiving people sleep in a bed made of gold why do you people look away from the poor and say what should i help them for you would not want them to do that to you so maybe you should think about what you do so lets start giving what do you say and give these people some better brighter days.

Hi Lesa when I pass someone who is homeless I think what if it was my son or daughter. I wouldn't want to pass by then. A poem from the heart thankyou. Leon

Lesa, your poem touched my heart. I see the homeless people, too, and wonder what can be done to help them. The homeless are growing in numbers now. I am not a wealthy person, just another struggling woman on her own, but you have inspired me to volunteer at the Salvation Army. When I had a boat, I used to bring fish to them. I no longer have the boat, but maybe there is something else I can do. Thank you for the wake up call! Love, Carolyn
