Homeless Nation

HOMELESS NATION

Democracy in my nation is fake,
Politicians are ready to throw you inside the lake
Justice is now a homeless widow
Desperately looking for its shadow

Where are we going in this nation?
Our dearest friend is now corruption
A nation that flows with milk and honey
Politicians don't care but in chase of money

Poverty is now a friend to many homes
Is this how we build our own Rome?
Wearing Agbada with black shoe is their blueprint
Many blood have stain their hands like thumb print...

They build mansions and live like a president
When many masses don't have a resident
We voted for change but they never care
Suffering and pains we can't bare

In my nation, masses now live like a stranger
Every benefit and interest is now enjoyed by foreigners
Tell the young ones never to depend on the government
Everything in my nation is now a sentiment...
