Homeless Child

Homeless Child

I am a homeless child
who lost both parents.
I am the only child
left alone
somebody sold my home
because my parents are now gone
I am young
clueless
homeless
helpless
with loneliness
I struggle to get food
I struggle to feel good
hungry
angry
I need somebody to come to my aid
to provide a room
a simple room
for me to rest
just a simple room
a room
like that of my parents
a deep hole
a grave
with a box of my size
a box made for me and only me
so that I may now rest
rest from pain
from pain and sorrow
that makes me regret my own birth
and think of my death
so soon.
