Home Going

Please don't be sad
For I am at peace
As you all are gather together
Don't be glum just rejoice with me

No more shall pain
Ravage through my body
Or need the help of family and friends
To care and tend to my every desire or need

Close your eyes and imagine with me
That I'm wrap in the arms of my Savior
Don't think of me as being gone
Just know that I have made it home

I have lived my life
and created a family that will leave a legacy
A legacy that cannot be broken
Unite together and celebrate my home going
That would be the greatest gift
You could ever give to me
