Home From The Sea

These feelings we shared so long ago,
Are kept in my heart where no one would know .
Memories shared with sadness and joy,
Feelings a young girl felt for the handsome young boy.
You gave this young girl the courage to be strong,
You helped her have the will to carry on.
As the days passed into years you soon realized,
This young girl had grown into a woman before your eyes.
And though you never until now could see, I had always been in love with
Thee.
And so those feelings deep in me,
Have found the heart of the sailor who has come home to me
My sailor who is home from the sea.
