I will never let you go You are my home Your eyes are my windows I am in the dark without you Alone Grasp on the fact and see I dream of nothing but you Surrounding me I wish I could fade in to sleep And never wake Curse the sun that takes You away If I believed in heaven I imagine it would be Your eyes, your mouth, your hands Taking over me If I believed in hell I imagine it would be This present life I live Vacant, shy Constant long for your eyes Time will try But can never cure The aching, my heart is ill It burns in grief, torture No relief A mark will keep you in my mind The tide will never wash away Our sands of time And in my unconscious mind My eyes take in your bodies light It consumes my soul Overwhelming glow Drops of gold reflect Your eyes Only in the depths of sleep Among this distant world I keep My head upon your chest Atop this oak Inside our nest In these arms I am not alone I breathe the words “I am home”
