Sunlight shines past the fall, Holding maple hearts in thrall. Winter's here and holds on tight, Spring comes for true respite. Thaw comes in many ways, Warming, causing changes through the days. You'll see it here, you'll see it there, It's not commonplace, not everywhere. But through and through as seasons part, You'll see a country's living, beating heart.
