Home

home
a place i want to go
where i feel safe
and if i could go there
i'd lay on my bed
and that goodnight
something i wish
if only such words came in a dish

home
a place where i am not
where i feel tense
and i pray to death
god only gave tears
and nobody heard me
if only i had a wish
if only home came in a dish

home
a place so nice
where everything is so small
and you feel everything is right
no lies
and love at night
if you loved me
u'd send me home

and oh, god
i cant stand the drunken fights
so im running away
down the street
and crossing the bridge
i didnt notice the headlights
everything is fading
i think i got my wish

home
where i am
where i feel safe
and i am in my bed
with my dish next to me
and tears filled my eyes
home
this is where i am
