The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Holy Spirit You Are Welcomed Here

Why would I even bother so to continue down this road
Why would one never concede falling on his own pride
In how would I even know that something is truly owed
Why continue pressing forward as all things are behind

Neither having seen nor heard and yet claiming to find
And to whom do I speak in so casting word after word
Calling one to be meek by Wisdom the Spirit has stirred
Calling one into question of blindness I see throughout

The Glory of His Only Son covered over by your doubt
How would one not only continue but intensify his fight
In constantly seeking you and placing this within sight
What is that constant need to call you by the Lord's Side

Certainly not I, but it is His Words you've come to know
As much as I try, It's the Holy Spirit in which you grow
Following His Light He keeps leading me back to you
The reason why I bother in continuing down this road
