Holiday Childhood Revisited

25 nov 2019 6:21 pm I am a child once more Sitting on the floor Watching holiday shows of old Singing along with every song confident loud and bold Charlie Brown that gloomy clown Learning of life with his furrowed brow The muppets and John Denver All made a childhood to remember Lights on the tree twinkling And tinsel reflecting While tiny Tim says God bless us everyone So many reminders of days that were fun Thank God for the memories that I remember Each year this time in november They keep my heart young As a sigh seeps from my lungs And I wish love for every heart And pray God to impart Peace and good will toward all men Now and forever always amen
