Holes In Heaven's Floor
Often I wonder gazing into the night sky if the stars are holes in Heaven's floor
To give our loved ones before us proof that we've all in life waited for
What really happens when a loved one dies?
The answer is in the night skies
Stars look like windows to another place
Separating us body and spirit in this vast open space
Allowing those that have passed on before
To peer from on high through holes in heavens floor
Watching over their loved ones still on Earth below
Keeping them from harm and all evil you know
All we can hope for is that they are proud of the strength and courage of the loved ones left behind
Till God calls them home giving them the task of there place in the skies to find.
