Holding On To Letting Go
When words just seem so hard to find.
To say what you can't leave behind.
There's only one thing you can do.
Wait and pray to see what's true.
That place between the heart and mind.
Where hurt and indecision bind.
That leaves you wondering if we're through.
Is a space made for just me and you.
If we can leave the others behind.
For just a while, I won't mind.
Just long enough to see what grew.
And find that love that we once knew.
It's just not right to live confined.
Afraid to open up the blind.
Being afraid of what to do.
You know this world was meant for two.
