Holding On

There's only a strand of rope left
But I'm still holding on to that cliff
It looks like its going to crack and fall
                                                    I keep holding on
I don't look down
I can't look down
                                                    Hope,
Makes me cling for that rope
It takes all my strength and will to climb up
Just so I can see that mountain top
But as soon as I'm there
I hear something tear
And I'm sent tumbling into the air
My feet touch rock and I'm stuck holding the rope again
I keep climbing to reach the end
                                                   I want to let go
To be free of the pain that flows
All the pressure and weight feel like a ton
But I know if I want to reach the top
I got to keep holding on

Great visuals. It's very important to keep holding on as long as you still draw breath. This may seem off topic but have you ever watched The Mist? It had one of those "make you feel terrible endings", while at the same time there's great moral value in it... NEVER give up. Cause you never know how close you are to salvation...
