Holding On
Falling through time
Wasting my life
Waiting for something new
And my bright days turn blue
Holding on
Holding on
Holding on to something untrue
Waiting for you to finally come through
I awoke this morning
I awoke with this mourning
With your name on my lips
And my soul hungrily searching for your kiss
WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE?
WHY AREN'T YOU HERE?
This is where you belong
To me you pledged you whole life long
To me you swore to stay by my side
So long as the stars rest in the sky
They are still there
And you are not here!
Holding on
Holding on
Holding on to something untrue
Waiting for you to finally come thorugh
Oh, my Love!
Where did you go?
I can't find you!
Where could you go?
You're now gone from me
Now I no longer need to . . .
Hold on
Hold on
Hold on to something untrue
Wait for you to finally come through
