Holding Back the Tears
Loosing a loved one so dear,
without saying your goodbyes.
Its hard it's confusing, you can't
even cry.
A beloved dad, your hearts broken
into pieces. Although sensing it was
going to happen sometime soon,
the blow still hits like a typhoon.
Holding back a wake of tears, you're
caught up in a horrid gloom.
Have faith, remember he will pull
you through, be by your side when
feeling down and blue.
He will catch you when you feel like
letting go. you're not alone.
When the flood of tears are cried, Jesus
shall comfort and dry your eyes.
Let the good lord in, he knocks and
stands patiently waiting.
