Hold Your Kids Above

There's no hope

kids ingesting coke

others breathin dope.

It's all screwed in your head

you're so misled

you'd chance your babies being dead.

Through life you ride

so called friends by your side

always getting fried.

Turning your back

on all the facts

kids lives being ruined by crack.

Without a second glance

you never take a stance

it's as if you're in a trance.

Please find a mirror

move a little nearer

see a little clearer.

You need to be free of

what holds you back from showing love

what stops you from holding your kids above.

Only you can make the first move

to get yourself out of the groove

for your kids you have something to PROVE!
