Hold On, My Heart
There,
the blush upon my cheek
brilliant red
evading my lips from speak
but sensations throughout my body rise
and love unsaid
is only delusion and lies
and every heartbeat,
breath, ligament and sinew
embraces the heart's obsession
over you.
