Hold On

(20/07/2011)

Hold on,
Let me see your scar
Is it deep or only a scratch
Is it curable or permanently tattooed
Your heart’s too clear to be struck

Hold on,
Let me see your tears
Is it salty or only a sweat
Is it stoppable or unmendable
Your eyes are too bright to leak

Hold on,
Why don’t you just take my hands
Together we can build a dam
I’ll lend you my strengths
For from now on, I’ll be your lamp

YOu have a very sweet and interesting style, Dinda. Welcome to soup. I don't recall seeing you before. (If I have, I apologize. My memory is short!)
