Hold My Hand

Hold my hand, shelter me, from troubled winds,
Hold my hand, protect me, from any hidden sins.
Hold my hand, anchor me, in life’s ocean
Hold my hand, comfort me, through painful emotions.
Hold my hand, soothe me, when I feel afraid,
Hold my hand, reassure me, through plans that I’ve made.
Hold my hand, catch me, if I ever fall,
Hold my hand, guide me, if opportunities come to call.
Hold my hand, just hold me, when my nightmares appear,
Hold my hand, stand by me, when I face my fears.
Hold my hand, support me, when life gets too much,
Hold my hand, caress me, when I need your touch.
Hold my hand, convince me, my dreams can come true,
Hold my hand, just be there, that’s all I ask of you.
