Hold me on a loving leash

When you find yourself floating
Through the sky, without a leash

With the wind, you’re going
Over mountains, trees, and seas

People will point at you: ‘look at her go,’ they’ll say

But when you’re out of sight
It’s time for them to look away

And when you’re still up there
Their days are passing by

Filled with chores, work, love, and laughter
Who is wondering how you’re doing, high up in the sky?

For them, it looks peaceful, nice, and free
As if nothing can bring you down

But all you want is for someone to see
And pull you back to the ground
