Hold It Tight

Translucent, cool, refreshing Through finger-tips caressing, The challenge is arresting I just cannot hold it tight. The water trickles downward Soon both my feet surrounded, My finger-tips curl ‘round it But I still can’t hold it tight. If only it had body For me to hold and study, Then maybe I won’t worry That I cannot hold it tight. Now comes a revelation A grasping of creation, A pang of inspiration I’ll just freeze it into ice.
