Hold Firmly To the Holy Word
J-ust hold firmly to the holy word
A-lmighty Father has taught;
C-onveyed through the message,
Q-uesting not to come to naught.
U-se your mind and soul,
E-specially your heart;
L-et all of them be united
I-n keeping the truth not apart.
N-ever turn away from light, nor ignore the Lord's counsel;
E-arnestly follow His command, yours is a life so well.
L-et not the true faith turn
I-nto material things of life;
N-either into doubt nor into fear,
C-ome instead to win over the strife.
O-bey the will of the Lord, never neglect His voice;
D-o listen to what He says, make only the right choice.
C-hoose between holiness
A-nd sinful wicked ways;
S-ixteenth morn in June,
T-imely lesson is in sacred place.
I-n the heavenly bliss up above,
L-ife eternal comes from the Lord;
L-ook, you shall see the promised land,
O-nce you hold firmly to the holy word.
