Hold Back the Sun

Hold back the sun
The night and me are not done
I don’t need to be seen
Just sitting and thinking where I’ve been

For the night time
Most surely is the right time
As I go through the thought
Nothing more but less than I have sought

Know what I am
I don’t need to feel the grand slam
Until then I just sit and think
In the end I rise and never sink.
