History Will Always Show

Those in the know, Know that history will will always show, That lack of cooperation will deal a hard blow, To an overinflated ego, And many a society disappears from the show, When cooperation becomes a no go. Those in the know, Know that history will always show, That lack of consequences will deal a hard blow, To those who fail to control an overinflated ego, And many a society disappears from the show, When lack of consequences is all go.

Fine pen David in NZ, as you show here history will always show itself as there are so many lessons we should learn from the past. Well done indeed, Gordon in Scotland

History suggest that homo sapiens may have survived where other branches of mankind did not because they understood that co-operating with others and sharing skill sets and knowledge increases chances of survival in hard times. Of course it take life experience which so many are being denied to learn these lessons. The virtual world is not a good training ground for the real world. take care David

History is certainly shaking it's head now. As you suggest inaction has most definitely cost many. A sad day for us all.

Good to hear from you Scott. Have you heard about our protests here in NZ. when they got kicked off Parliament grounds they tried to cause trouble where I live but our community is strong and would not have a bar of the destructive element even though we are not all politically aligned. Where communities remain strong life is sweeter. May our community of poets remain strong and delightful poetry keep flowing and educating. Take care always David in NZ
